My Worm
A worm swimming in his useless sea,
his little hat sits proud.
Your wrap around it like snakes,
And you swallow it all.
Turtles crawling across my floor,
Sloths hanging from my closet bar.
They all move faster than you.
Little fish, big fish swimming in the water,
Swirl down counter clockwise with everything else.
Camels spitting up their water,
And horses refusing to drink from
their mouths.
Cats don't sleep on my bed anymore
but rather on the floor next to you.
Tomorrow the worm returns for another
round.
With his gloves all laced and ready.
Ready to take you on.
